MASONRY EDUCATION DAY
Earn up to 4 AIA/CES HSW credits while participating in engaging, hands-on learning sessions designed for masonry professionals, architects, and engineers. Attendance is free for Upstate MCAA member companies, their employees, and all architects and engineers. Participants can attend in person or virtually—a proctor is required for virtual attendance—and will receive certificates of completion for each seminar upon passing the review tests. Plus, enjoy a roundtable discussion and complimentary breakfast and lunch provided during the event.

Learning Objectives:
- Explore myths about masonry design and construction and how to avoid them on your project.
- Implement cost savings elements on projects.
- Avoid designing movement joints using old empirical rules of thumb and use more efficient analytical methods instead.
- Incorporate appropriate testing and inspection requirements on projects for both masonry and mortar.
